FAQ
Are Battle Elephants viable now?
The reduction in food cost (110 -> 100) and increased speed (0.88 -> 0.9) make them significantly easier to mass and maneuver. While still vulnerable to Monks, they are much more cost-effective in Castle Age.
Why were Watch Towers buffed?
The wood cost reduction (50 -> 35) makes tower rushes (Trushes) less economically punishing and allows defensive towers to be placed with less impact on your farming economy.
How does the Mongol nerf affect them?
The Mongol HP bonus for Steppe Lancers and Light Cavalry is reduced in the Castle Age from +30% to +20%. This makes their mid-game power spike slightly less oppressive while keeping their late-game strength.
What changed with Georgians?
Their cavalry regeneration is now scaled by age (5/10/15 HP per min) instead of being a flat 15% starting in Feudal. This significantly weakens their Feudal Age scout durability.
Are Sicilian Donjons better?
Donjons are now cheaper (75w -> 50w) and benefit from the new 'Fortifications build 50% faster' bonus. Although the base build time was increased, the cost reduction makes 'Serjeant Rushes' more economically viable.
