FAQ
Why was the Khitan economy nerfed?
The Khitan food economy provided too much early tempo. Receiving ~64 free food from Sheep in Dark Age followed by extremely efficient Pastures made their uptime too fast. The nerf brings their eco in line with other food bonuses.
Are Fire Lancers viable now?
The cost reduction (50g -> 45g) and attack increase (8 -> 9) make them significantly more cost-effective as a raiding unit, allowing for better trades against villagers and archers.
How does the Wei Tuntian change help?
The food generation increased from 1.2 to 1.8 per soldier. This passive income is now substantial enough to offset the military investment, and the cost change to Wood (instead of Gold) makes it much easier to afford in Castle Age.
