FAQ

Why was the Siege Tower cost reduced?

The Siege Tower is rarely seen in competitive play. Reducing the cost to 100 Wood / 120 Gold makes it a much more viable option for breaking into walled bases in Castle Age without needing a Castle.

What does the Skirmisher nerf mean?

Increasing the train time from 22s to 26s slows down mass Skirmisher production in Feudal Age. This aims to reduce prolonged 'trash wars' in Feudal and encourage players to transition to Castle Age units.

How does the Animal Food change work?

Previously, if a military unit (like a Scout or Archer) killed a deer or boar, the food would vanish (rot instantly). Now, the carcass remains, and villagers can gather from it. This allows for 'laming' tactics where you kill an opponent's boar with your scout and then potentially steal it.

Did Franks get buffed?

Yes. The Bearded Axe technology now gives +2 range to Throwing Axemen (up from +1), and the unit itself trains faster and is cheaper to upgrade. This makes them a very potent ranged melee unit in Imperial Age.

What happened to Sicilian bonus resistance?

It was buffed from 33% to 40%. This means Sicilians take even less bonus damage from counter units (e.g., Cavaliers take significantly less damage from Pikemen), reinforcing their identity as a brute-force civilization.
