Krepost
Military - CastleDescription
"Bulgarian unique building. A smaller fortification that can train Konniks and fire arrows. Cheaper and faster to build than a Castle."
Strategic Analysis
Strategic Role
The Krepost is a mini-Castle exclusive to the Bulgarians. It allows early Castle Age aggression with Konniks without the full stone cost of a Castle.
Key Tactics
Forward Krepost
Build a Krepost near the enemy base in Castle Age. Train Konniks to raid while the Krepost provides covering fire.
Map Control
Use Kreposts to secure key resources or chokepoints. They are cheaper than Castles for holding territory.
Faster Production
Multiple Kreposts can produce Konniks faster than a single Castle. Use this for overwhelming cavalry pressure.
Warning
Kreposts have lower HP and attack than Castles. Do not expect them to hold against determined siege attacks.
Stats Analysis
The Krepost is half the cost of a Castle but with proportionally reduced stats. Excellent for aggressive plays.
Cost
350 Stone
Less than half the cost of a Castle. Allows multiple fortifications.
Garrison
20
Can garrison units for protection and arrow fire bonus.
Unique Unit

Placement Tip
Build Kreposts forward to maximize aggression. They are expendable compared to Castles.
Timing Tip
Build Kreposts as soon as you hit Castle Age for early Konnik pressure.
