However, you move at 0.8 speed - the slowest unit in the game. Archers kite you forever, and you can't chase anything. Use walls, buildings, and chokepoints to force enemies to fight you in melee.

The Teutonic Knight is the **melee supremacy unit**. In pure melee combat, nothing beats you. The challenge is forcing that engagement.

  • Chokepoint King: In narrow passages like forests or between buildings, your speed doesn't matter. You become an immovable wall.
  • Defense Mode: Station behind walls or in your base. When enemies attack, your Teutonic Knights delete anything that gets close.
  • Conversion Bait: High value makes you a conversion target. Bring your own monks or research Heresy to counter this.

Warning: **0.8 speed is crippling**. Archers walk backwards faster than you walk forwards. Never fight in open fields without support.
