Bagains is the Imperial Age unique technology for the Bulgarians. It gives the Militia-line +5 melee armor, making Two-Handed Swordsmen and Champions extremely tanky against melee attacks. Combined with their free Man-at-Arms upgrade, this makes Bulgarian infantry formidable.
